Tooting My Own Horn

Delivering above expectations:

A newly signed client, ConAgra, had recently made a deal with Minor League Baseball to partner on a promotional initiative. My department was tasked with creating multiple design platforms to highlight this partnership with a deliverable due date of June 1st. It was March, so we had to work fast. I grouped every resource I had together and we hit the ground running. It was decided that we would run programs in five different markets across the nation, simultaneously.

Expanding the bottom line:

The agency I work for had acquired a small portion of the Miller Brewing Company account. My department was tasked with creating sell sheets to promote and support Miller’s in-store promotional efforts. The work was exciting and rewarding but I knew there was an opportunity for us to do much more. I pitched my creative department’s ability to the account AE who in turn shared the idea with his contacts at Miller. (more…)

Increasing my department’s capabilities:

Del Monte, a new client brought us aboard to design and implement in-store point-of-sale as well as national advertisements and online initiatives. It was a good fit as the agency and my department are setup for this type of work. The sense of trust we established with Del Monte prompted the client to ask if we would like to design and produce an in-store cooking video. Being that this was not something the agency normally handled there was some hesitation. (more…)
